Digitisation of MANUFACTURING processes
The main objective of this project is to take a first step towards the DIGITALISATION OF IBERTEST’s PRODUCTION PLANT, focusing firstly on the design work and its transfer to the production team. The current work methodology is highly manual and time-consuming. This project aims to reduce information transfer errors and increase efficiency in the production process.
For this reason, IBERTEST has set out to implement the necessary production, quality control and design means that will allow it, through the digitalisation and automation of these processes, to increase its efficiency and profitability. In this way, it aims to increase its competitiveness in the market while improving the quality and reliability of the equipment it sells.

This project represents the first steps towards the complete digitalisation of IBERTEST’s plant.
The main expected benefits are:
- Digitisation of designs made by the Technical Office and transfer of information.
- Digitisation of the production process.
- More control of material consumption and warehouse status.
- Possibility of monitoring/verifying all the parameters of a high-pressure hydraulic circuit.
- Generation of employment.
Digitalization of QUALITY processes
The main objective of this project is to continue the digitalization process initiated at S.A.E. IBERTEST in 2024. Whilst this digitalization began with production processes, the aim of this second phase is to digitise the QUALITY, VERIFICATION AND INSPECTION processes.
Currently, the methods and resources used at IBERTEST in the quality control, dimensional verification and inspection phases have limited precision and capacity. It is therefore necessary to incorporate advanced measurement and verification technologies that will enable the comprehensive digitisation of the quality phase, integrate metrological data into the company’s digital workflow, and close the full engineering–manufacturing–verification–calibration cycle.
Following the efforts made in 2024 to digitise the engineering and manufacturing phases, IBERTEST is now faced with the need to systematically integrate measurement, verification and inspection processes into the digital workflow of the production process, with the aim of improving metrological traceability, the reliability of results and the plant’s overall efficiency.

With the following planned investments:
- High-precision laser interferometric system.
- Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for advanced dimensional control.
S.A.E. IBERTEST expects to achieve the following positive outcomes:
- Advanced digitisation of dimensional control and quality verification.
- Improved metrological traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Reduction in errors and increased reliability of equipment.
- Optimisation of verification and quality control times.
- Data integration and management based on digital information.
- Strengthening competitiveness and technological positioning.
- Impact on staff training and qualifications.
