Product Description
PFIB machines and testing gantries. Solutions for large structural elements.
PFIB machines allow the automatic application of a load ( kN ) at the rate set by the user, both dynamic or static solicitations.
Reading of the force applied using pressure transducers fitted to the hydraulic unit or load cell mounted in line with the actuator.
Applying the load on the test specimen is usually accomplished by a hydraulic cylinder, servo controlled .
The speed with which the load is applied can be controlled in strength ( kN / s), stroke of the actuator mm / minute) or deformation of the specimen being tested (mm / minute).
Controlling the load speed is performed automatically by an electronic module MD, microprocessed, independent from the computer.
Configuring the test is performed by a specific software WinTest32 , Win-POR version , which allows :
- Programming of load speed, running of linear ramps, pauses, charge and discharge cycles, etc. .
- Configuring the test specimen ( shape, size , age, curing , etc. . )
- Real-time calculations of strength and elasticity modules using force and strain transducers.
Four columns PFIB testing machines
The columns are connected by a top plate and are closed at the bottom by means of a steel plate or profile structure. This testing frame is very suitable when needed a extreme stiffness structure.
The upper closure plate can be fixed or mobile by lateral hydraulic jacks (as in the UMIB machines).
Its main advantage is that it can be equipped with multiple test devices and can even perform tensile tests.
With this type of frames can be achieved test loads up to 3000 kN
Selfstanding gantries, made of steel beams.
Gantry (structures base, pillars and beams) are made of steel profiles of very high rigidity, attached by welding or by bolting.
This kind of gantry combines very high rigidity, while maintaining a cost-affordable solution and without the need of being anchored to a slab loading.
Gantry type testing machines anchored to loading slabs.
They are the best choice for research labs construction sector, universities, technology centers, etc..
The Pillars of the test frame rests on footings that are anchored on a loading slab built into the floor of the lab.
On the surface of the test slab has a grid of anchor points that allow various combinations of frames and trials to configure complex geometry elements or of very large dimensions.
As for the load, the only limitation is the individual capacity of the anchors of the loading slab. If more capacity is needed, use more anchor points or balance the load by a double-or triple gantry.
Semi-gantry testing frame
Also called type frames “gooseneck”.
Have the great advantage of an open structure, which greatly facilitates the positioning of the specimens within the test zone.
However, its design has limitations on the maximum load that can be applied (up to 300 kN) without compromising its structural integrity.
