The rigour and commitment of many professionals managed to impose a culture of quality in the industry.
An industrial product must not only work well, but it must do so reliably for as long as possible and in a clean and safe way for the user, maintaining a contained manufacturing cost.
IBERTEST Quality Control machines are designed to help achieve these goals.
IBERTEST has always supported this idea of manufacturing with quality and added value, both in its activity as an industrial producer and in the way its customers work.
For this reason, in addition to being a manufacturer, IBERTEST is an ENAC Accredited Laboratory for Calibration of materials testing machines, being the most important private laboratory in Spain in the areas of strength and deformation.
Because quality can only be shown with facts and, in our case, with internationally traceable calibration certificates.
Among our solutions for industry, we can highlight:
LIGHT ALLOY INDUSTRY
LIGHT ALLOYS: ALUMINIUM, ZINC, TITANIUM AND MAGNESIUM

Currently, the demand for metallic materials has increased globally as a result, in large part, of the industrial development of Asian countries.
Due to greater competition between companies worldwide, the increase in R&D&I budgets means that products are differentiated by providing them with added value, increasing production capacities, performance and also increasing the training of human resources.
But these costs cannot be passed on to the final consumer in their entirety, that is why IBERTEST helps with our solutions to improve production quality controls, saving material costs, human resources, time and avoiding possible deviations in production, increasing the reliability of the products with a minimum impact on the final costs.
This is the case of the light alloy, zinc, aluminium, titanium and magnesium industries, which every day are betting more and more on a product that is able to compete with steel in all its applications and not only that, but they intend to increase their market share thanks to their advances in medicine, aeronautics or automotive among others, making the already mentioned R+D+i costs essential.
IBERTEST provides quality control solutions for metallic materials according to international standards.
CEMENT INDUSTRY

Cement is a certified product that needs to undergo multiple quality controls through tests carried out according to strict international standards such as EN 196-1, ASTM C109, ASTM C349 or ISO 679 among others.
The cement industry is highly demanding with its means of quality control. Any deviation detected in the cement quality control laboratory can have serious repercussions on production costs, loss of certification and loss of competitiveness.
Cement quality control laboratories are staffed by skilled and experienced analysts, who need equipment of the highest reliability and precision.
IBERTEST manufactures compression and flexural testing machines for cements and mortars. It also takes care of all the key elements in the process of preparing cement specimens, such as the mixer, moulds, compactor and climatic chamber.
All these elements demonstrably meet the demanding quality requirements of EN 196, ASTM C109 and similar standards.
IBERTEST also develops innovative equipment to carry out, automatically, Vicat setting tests, Le Chatelier stability, Langavant calorimetry (semi adiabatic calorimetry) and automatic Blaine permeability.

RAIL INDUSTRY: HIGH SPEED

Spain is currently one of the countries with the highest density of high-speed lines per km2 in the world.
Industrial companies in the sector are being awarded large-scale projects in many countries, due to their extensive experience and the quality of their solutions.
IBERTEST has been involved from the beginning in the development of the Spanish high-speed lines. Its contribution is modest but very relevant, since with IBERTEST’s track testing machines, the competent public bodies verify that the quality of the track, its welded joints, elastic fastening systems, etc. is adequate.
This quality control on the railway track, its elastic fastening elements and track fastening, sleepers, etc., ensures that the material and elements used will not fail, as long as the installation is correct and its maintenance and renewal is adequate.
Dynamic and static tests verify that the passage of a high-speed train at more than 300km/h thousands of times will not weaken the track or its adjacent elements and that under no circumstances will a breakage occur.
IBERTEST’s testing solutions for high speed railway tracks are currently present in Spain and France.
