Intended Application
Automatic, computer-controlled IBERTEST testing machines, fitted with both
MS-DOS and MS Windows™-based control software.
No matter how far away your testing machine is installed, IBERTEST can perform
Telediagnosis maintenance via modem, over the telephone line. Just a
simple phone –or Internet- call from the customer’s laboratory lets connect the
testing machine control computer to IBERTEST After-Sales Service Department in
our HQ in Daganzo, near Madrid (Spain).
IBERTEST-developed Telediagnosis technology makes possible to take over the
customer's machine computer as if our engineers were in front of it, to verify
all working parameters and system files, and to fix many problems in a very fast,
economic and convenient way.
Computer Software Package
The corresponding software package (for MS Windows™ series) and its user licence
are given to the customer when contracting Telediagnosis.
This is mainly a communication software, supporting telephone, Internet, cable
and even wireless connection. Whichever the way between the customer’s machine
computer and IBERTEST Technical Support Department is set up, it will be a fully
confidential link. |
Services
offered
File transfer: Telediagnosis lets transfer, copy or
deletion of files on the host computer (the one in charge of the
testing machine) from the guest computer (the one at IBERTEST
Technical Support Department).
This file transmission is very fast and convenient, as both
computers are totally synchronized. Moreover, the new “Speed Sync”
technology speeds it up, since there is a real-time data comparison,
and there are just the changes –not the whole files- transferred.
Remote control: IBERTEST Technical Support Engineers can
watch the customer’s machine computer screen as if they were in
front of it. In actual fact, IBERTEST engineers will see both their
own and the customer’s screen. Remote control allows the diagnosis
of problems eventually arisen in the customer testing machine, and
fixing them by replacing files or arranging folders. All these
control processes are short in time, as immediate are the program
configuration and run test.
Remote control takes place from the guest computer by mouse or
keyboard, as easy as the MS Windows™ drag-and-drop feature, copying
files from one window to another, replacing corrupted files,
handling any peripherals (as such happening the testing machine
motion) and so on.
Dialogue: There is possible to set up a real time dialogue –or
message exchange- between both computers. This is very useful for
project and collaboration purposes, for checking the machine
parameter correctness, symptoms reporting, etc.
Telediagnosis connections can be automatically started if the
customer includes IBERTEST Telediagnosis Service phone number in the
software settings or contact list.
