Machine Modernization

WINTEST® system is the best way to obtain the optimum modernization in your Material’s Testing Laboratory, increasing your productivity and your accuracy, both at a reasonable price.
We replace your old machines’ control and measure system by a new one, consisting of modern electronic boards assembled within a last generation computer. These boards are complemented with the famous WINTEST® pack, working under Windows™.
Thanks to the computerized control system, a great amount of time is saved in preparing the machine’s testing parameters, calculate and measure results, draw the diagrams, etc, and all that by hand.
With WINTEST®, all things mentioned before are carried out fast and automatically, offering besides, many other important possibilities such as: accomplishing different statistics, simulation of many tests, immediate adaptation to any Standard, ramps, cycles, etc.

Machines with an electromechanical drive unit

If the testing machine to be updated has a drive motor unit in good condition, in compliance with the current technical requirements, there is no need to change it.
If it is a modernization case, we can supply not only the WINTEST® system (electronics + computer + software), but also the drive unit, new and with better performance.

Machines with a hydraulic drive unit

Machines having a manual lever control for their load regulation system (such as MFL, TONI, AMSLER, TINIUS OLSEN, ZWICK, INSTRON, etc and some IBERTEST series now superseded), are modernized by replacing the high pressure hydraulic unit for a fully new and completely automatic one, that is to say, for a servo-hydraulic system.

WINTEST® System

IBERTEST WINTEST® offer encompasses different systems, and therefore levels, of modernization (servo, mechanical or servo-hydraulic systems), which match with the condition of the machines to be updated, and on the customer's budget and technical requirements as well.
WINTEST® digital electronic system is well beyond the common circuits, in terms of the machine performance and other benefits such as:

Variable, user-programmable speed control.
High accuracy in all sorts of tests (tensile, compression, bending, shear, fatigue, etc)
Real-time data acquisition.
Fast configuration for any standard, including the latest EN, ISO, ASTM, DIN, AFNOR, BS and other relevant ones.
Static and cyclic tests by setting all necessary parameters (frequency, amplitude, load rate, etc), wave types (sinus, triangle, square) and ramp increase signals.
Statistics in a range of presentation forms.
Test simulation: very useful for teaching Materials Science, given the possibility to show the best tests ever made, saved together with their graphs.
Servocontrol in load, displacement and strain.
Top performance computer (iPentium of the latest generation).
State-of-the-art electronic blasters mounted inside the PC.

WINTEST® system is easy to use, even for people with poor computer knowledge. Its interface allows the user to display on the spot the results of the test in process, or of former tests, and also to set the parameters for new tests, etc. by selecting the appropriate icon with the mouse.

Furthermore, the user has a direct link to a comprehensive ‘Mode of Use’ file at hand, which can be checked as much frequently as needed.
