P30D (For Education Purposes)

Designed specifically as a durable and low-cost piece of equipment mainly for educational use. This pendulum allows resilience tests to be carried out -both Charpy and Izod, according to ASTM E23 and EN 10.045-1 standards, with excellent precision. • High-strength cast iron body. • Capacity: 300 J. • Hammer: 150 J with additional weights for up to 300 J. • Analogic display. • Manual controls. • Hammer raising by conveyor belt and hand wheel. • Braking system by pedal and drum brake.

 

 

PIB-30 Series (For Industry Purposes)

For materials tests and quality control, research, etc. PIB-30 series impact testers fulfil all the homologation requirements of the most relevant international standards: for instance ASTM E23 with NIST (USA) standard test pieces, and EN 10.045-1 with BCR (EU) standard test pieces. Main characteristics and features: • High-rigidity, cast iron body, machined with great precision. • For Charpy, Izod and shock tensile tests. • Capacity 300 J (150 J as an option). • ASTM and EN strikers (exchangeable). • Electromagnetic brake operated by push button. • Hammer release by means of two push buttons at opposed sides. • Energy measurement: analogic instrument with needles for the main and maximum values. • Pendulum raising system: - manual (PIB-30 series) - motor-driven (PIB-30M series) with double management panel and proximity detectors.
